Running 1.2 on an NetBSD/i386 NFS server.
Running 1.3 alpha on the client, with a 1.2 userland. I'm building
1.3 over NFS.
The server dies, repeatedly, with a panic in:
	nfsrv_readdir
	nfssvc_nfsd
	sys_nfssvc

See my message in current-users about building a 1.3 kernel on a 1.2
machine. I did see some references to building a new /sbin for 1.3,
which is my first priority, right after libc :-)
