It's been around for so long, I forget when I first became aware of it :)
I think there's a related bug with one of the early versions of "ping"
which use the same raw IP socket.

It might even crash SunOS4.

When I've mentioned it before, people have usually said "well, you need
to be root to run it so...".  blahness.
