i can't decode it, or, rather, i gave up trying to find the bit that
sets the number i am curious about. can someone *please* settle an
argument?

i have a *HEAVY* use webserver, that has recently starting spewing

sd0(bt0:0:0): medium error, info = 1478388 (decimal), data = 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

every few minutes. i grepped and viewed my way through a lot of the
code in scsi/, but could not find any references to what the number
1478388 meant. my "colleague" says it's a sector number. i say no,
but cannot offer a better alternative. assistance please?

stats:
netbsd/i386 1.2 source as of 9/23/96 (client doesn't care about -current)
128m ram
bt0 at isa0 port 0x330-0x333 irq 10 drq 5: model BT-956C, firmware 4.28A
bt0: sync, parity
bt0 targ 0: sync, offset 14, period 100nsec
scsibus0 at bt0
sd0 at scsibus0 targ 0 lun 0: <SEAGATE, ST32155W, 0528> SCSI2 0/direct fixed
sd0: 2049MB, 4177 cyl, 8 head, 125 sec, 512 bytes/sec

if i left anything pertinent out, left me know and i'll find it. :)

thanks...
