I'm not sure I like being an "other"... :\

I downloaded these files from
ftp://ftp23.netscape.com/pub/communicator/4.0/4.0b2/unix/other

-rw-r--r-- 1 888 999 4780646 Feb 21 02:00 netscape-v40b2-export.x86-unknown-bsd.tar.gz

Good question - they both seem to work fine on my NetBSD 1.2C/x86 system,
although bsd2 locked up once while exiting. I haven't tried the Linux
version of 4.0b2, but from past experience, the BSD versions usually run
better. I have heard Linux people say Netscape doesn't run very well
even on Linux, so the problem may not be in the emulation...

bsd:
% file netscape
netscape: unknown pure executable

% hexdump netscape | head -2
0000000 010b 0000 6000 006c c000 000d 0b8c 0003
0000010 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000

bsd2:
% file netscape
netscape: BSD/OS i386 compact demand paged executable

% hexdump netscape | head -2
0000000 00cc 0000 5000 0060 d000 000d 4e80 0003
