Having recently come over found the Linux camp, I wanted to move some 
of my monitoring programs as well. Under Linux before you could 
access and I/O port you had to make a call to ioperm. 

I can't find it on either my  -current or 1.2 boxes running gcc 
2.7.2.  Any help would be appreciated.
