I cannot find the exact message in the current version of routed. I think
that RTM_LOSING indicates that we have not heard from a gateway that was
previously announcing rip, so we may decide to delete it from the routing
table. Could your network be losing packets. Also if you are not running
current, you might want to upgrade libc and routed and see if the messages
go away.
