Thanks for all your suggestions with the rarpd.  I played some more with
the setup and figured the sun workstation was really at fault. 
Although, my rarpd was not working correctly either, the sun's ethernet
was acting rather flakey.  I'm going to look into it with some known
working hardware at another site.  Once again thanks, I know I'll have
more troubles down the road.  Darrell
