Which RealAudio?  FreeBSD or linux?

I send in a PR a while ago which contains changes sufficient for the
linux raplayer to work on my system, assuming you switch raplayer to
8-bit mode before attempting to play anything.

The error messages you get from raplayer are, at best, vague.
