run '3c5x9 w -F 10baseT'. You might have to add -f if the interface is
or was up since boot and -p '<ioaddr> if you have multiple 3c509s.
After that, reboot with a hard reset and ifconfig the interface with
link0 link1.

3c5x9 is in ftp://ftp.planix.com/pub/NetBSD/3c5x9setup.tar.gz.
