After some recent changes to ed0, my machine hangs when booting very recent
sources (last nite).  It hangs after the second line of info on ed0,
just before where pas0 should be printed.

Anyone else experiencing this?  I thought I had fixed all my ed0 problems.
It works fine under an older kernel.

I've removed the correspondence with the person who made this change
'cause I thought I had fixed the problem.  I'd rather not backtrack and
restore my old /usr/src; it takes me hours.
