options COM_HAYESP

Then just make sure you have a standard com port config line for it.
For example:

com2	at isa? port 0x3e8 irq 5

One important note: the ESP can be used at more IRQs than a "standard
com port". Specifically, it can use the "upper" IRQ lines, in the
8-15 range, as well as the traditional ones. You'll probably want to
re-run that software config program to make sure you have everything
set right. The "com port" that you set it for determines its I/O
address range. The IRQ is set separately.

If you need more help, let me know.
