I'm looking to find out how people may have accomplished this.
I see either of two ways:
  Boot PROM using bootp/bootparam/tftp/other, then method below
  Small boot disk, then use NFS/Samba/AFS?/other

I'm interested in war stories as to how well this works, what kind
of incompatibilities you've encountered.

For example, I'd like to know how well the MS-DOS network drive emulation
carries over when using things like Windoze 3.x or prot-mode dos extender
games, etc.
