Not from what I've seen.  Both 5x86 chips are very similar in price
from my perusals through Computer Shopper.

The Cyrix is supposedly a bit faster at the same clock, but similar in
price (maybe just slightly more expensive).

(Still can't verify an actual experience running NetBSD on one, yet.)
