Agreed. My Sun 3/60 has no problem with a serial port running at
38.4K.  My machine previous to this one was a 286/12 with 2MB of
RAM running SCO Xenix, and it managed to talk at 38.4 to a 14.4
modem and not drop characters, even when I started a large compile
(or rn, for that matter :-)) and threw the system into a mad frenzy
of swapping.
