I use a BusLogic VLB BT-440C/445C in my news server and it works great.
Under 1.0 I would get console messages reporting that the card had timed
out, but under 1.1, things are great!

I use an Adaptec 1542CF (pure ISA, no VLB) in another machine, it is
great if you have 16megs or less of memory.

If your going to go out and by a SCSI card, the BusLogic will be cheaper
than an Adaptec. The BusLogic will be, most likely, faster due to the
VLB.

As a matter of fact, I'm dumping my AHA-1542CF for a BT-440C, because I
can't access my full 32 Megs.
