I think that the SCSI-side of those chips is ncr, at least that vs300 and vs
machines have NCR-scsi (it's on EISA-bus for vs). The PCI-connected SCSI for
vs300 works with NetBSD ncr driver (needs PCI_CONF_MODE=1 to work)

But on my machine the motherboard SCSI is fried (Inquiry gives BONNER and BDC
for manufacturers), and I had completely forgotten that the Ethernet might be
implemented on the same chip as the SCSI. So the ethernet on that machine
might be broken also, and who knows what that from setup disabled SCSI might
be doing, it is seen by config of that machine.
