Sometimes I have problems when exiting vi in an xterm:

format_file: 16 lines, 418 characters.
                                      Error: endwin: Inappropriate ioctl for device.
    atrium 89% stty crt sane
                            atrium 90% 
atrium 90% 

Is this a curses problem?
