I am running NetBSD-Current on a 486dx2/66 with 16mb of ram and a
3com509b-combo card, and I have a major problem.

This machine used to be connected up to a novell networking, with a BNC
cable, and a 3com509 -BNC card, where a Novell 3.11 server served as a
gateway between the subnet and the rest of internet.
The office was then rewired to use twisted pair, so I changed the card to
combo, and set the card in Twisted-pair mode. The cable goes to a hub
thats connected to a different Novell 3.11 server serving as a gateway
between this subnet and the internet (the ip address changed)

I tested the machine in dos, using Ncsa telnet, and it worked great using
134.84.96.206 as the IP and 134.84.96.254 as the gateway, which is the
right values.

I then tried to set /etc/mygate to 134.84.96.254, and /etc/hosts to
reflect my new IP, no success. When I try to ping 134.84.96.254 I get
host down, if I try to ping anything else, I get no route to host.

I figured something got screwed up , so I booted up with the 1.0 disks,
and I did:
ifconfig ep0 134.84.96.206 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 134.84.96.255
route add default 134.84.96.254

and tried to ping 134.84.96.254 again, with the same resoult, host down.
The address can be pinged from other hosts without problem.

I get no route to host trying to ping other hosts.

I bring the machine back up from the HD, and try to access the machine
from a machine on the same subnet, no luck.

What do I do now??
