Xfree86 (XF86_SVGA) doesn't start up any more with -current. I am not
sure since which update, because I had not run X for a while (say, 2 weeks),
and only noticed today. I checked everthing possible to make sure that it
wasn't my mistake, but I can't find anything. I did not change my kernel
config since the last time it worked (ok, I think I added UNION). I am using
pcvt, so I tried pccons (recompile from scratch), but that did not work
either. I think I have updated everything in the correct order, with
config.new, etc. Also, my the hardware in my system did not change in any
way. /dev/vga is still (like it always has been) a symlink to /dev/ttyv0,
which is major,minor 12,0

Just to be complete, I'll include the XFree output below, and the dmesg
output.

I hope someone else at least has this problem too (not because I
want you to have a problem, but because it makes me look less silly ;-)),
or that there's a simple solution.

- Frank
