Unfortunately, there aren't any 16-bit PCMCIA USB cards (although it would
be possible, I think manufacturers decided it would be a wasted effort).
So, you probably won't be able to get USB on a MobilePro 780. Also, I'm not
sure how/if the IrDA works under NetBSD.
However, I've heard that you can get the Audio working this way: When
HPCBOOT or PSDBOOT is loading the kernel, keep pressing the
brightness/contrast buttons (make sure its at a setting you'll like, though,
because NetBSD will be stuck with it. Pushing these buttons creates noise,
and keeps the sound card "alive" when NetBSD takes over.
