I believe I have figured out the problem. I have a Seagate Drive with  
FW 3.04. It is locked in IDE mode, and won't operate in CD IO mode. I  
don't know if there's any way to force netbsd to use IDE mode, but I  
doubt that's possible. So, I guess I'll have to sell this drive on  
eBay and get one of the retail versions of the drive. I'll wager a  
guess that no one on here would want to get a 5GB drive that won't  
work. :)
