I did indeed. I just built it on a fairly recent (2006-03-23)
3.0_STABLE. Took half a day on the z50, but seems ok.

I have made a binary pkg available at
  http://nuxi.homeunix.org/NetBSD/hpcmips/MesaLib-6.4.2nb1.tgz

I have no programs so far with which to test it, though. I'm building
MesaDemos now, but don't hold your breath. And I also expect speed
to be unusable for anything interactive.
