I did manage a rather inelegant method by selecting the Ask For  
Filename option and then crawling through the questions for paths.  
The only problem is, it takes a long time, and I'd rather have this  
machine dedicated to NetBSD. I'm never going to use Windows CE on it  
again unless I have to.

I guess I'm just not grokking the process because the filesystem  
where the kernel resides isn't visible to Windows CE, so how can the  
HPCBOOT program see it? I wouldn't say I'm a *nix newbie, but I'm  
definitely in the Power User class. I've never even recompiled a  
kernel :)
