hey,

there have been several discussions on this list regarding the use of
compact flash as swap, and the general consensus seems to be that the
cards will wear out real fast so it's not recommended. however: let's
say i have a source of 32 meg cards at around $7 each (i do), can't i
just use one of those until it fails and then just change it? how often
(ballpark figure) would i have to change if i used the machine daily but
tried not to use too much ram, thus avoiding excessive swapping?
