What do you mean by the above "/"?

One thing that comes to mind, you could start a shell from the
utility menu of the install program and from that mount the 64MB
card manually, type ^D to return to the install programm, and then
choose "local filesystem" or "mounted filesystem" as the install
source. Use /mnt2 as the mount point for the small CF card, or
create a new /mnt3 or so.
