fyi:

- recently snarfed one of the Kingston 2GB PCMCIA HDs (they're going for
$79 on-line now)....

- formatted the drive (20MB DOS, Linux, 100MB DOS)... put
pbsdboot.exe, the install kernel (1.5.1) and the boot kernel (greg's
trkpt/audio/LCD version) on the 20MB partition... put the install files on
the 100MB DOS partition...

- booted the install kernel (from the 20MB DOS partition)... one 'gotcha'
was that i had to re-insert the card so that the installer would recognize
the card as an available drive...

- next 'gotcha' was that i had to go to the shell via the utility menu and
run disklabel to add the 100MB DOS partition as wd0f...

- selected the 'unmounted' filesystem option, fed it wd0f and msdos, and
... bingo! the install proceeds...

nice job, NetBSD folks!
