Subject: Is the patched kernel for the z50 really working?

I tried the patched kernel (at least that is what the link said it would be)
and my boot up stopped and said cannot mount the filesystem.  I have a z50
with the memory upgrade a 2 GB Toshiba PCMCIA HDD and a 32 MB CF card.  Do I
have the wrong kernel or somthing?
