Sorry for the newbie-style post. I've been trying to get some kind of
open source OS to run on my clio 1050. I've come across others who have
hit the same roadblocks.

Has anyone installed netbsd on this machine? The problem now lies in
the IRQ/PCMCIA port. I found discussions from a couple years ago,
saying that the GPIO ports were incorrect in the config file, and that
these ports could be estimated within WinCE. Anyone done this? If not,
I'll gladly test tihngs out on my clio....

I tried linux-vr, but that project is essentially dead. They don't even
have the framebuffer settings for the 1050. I compiled a kernel, but it
wouldn't boot. I'm guessing I'm hitting the same IRQ problems...

It's a great project, I just hope I can find my way into it somehow.

I had a z50 a couple years ago. Someone stepped on it. Major ouch.

Thanks,

Dan
