absolutely true. if someone were to embark on a project like this, it may be
better to just build a really simple loader of some sort... adapt the NetBSD
bootloader to the task? tho it would be cool if the loader could be
generalized enough to support any OS.

again, I have little/no idea what I'm talking about here, so if it doesn't
make sense, you know which key to push to make this go away. :)
