yes... quite well, actually... you'll definitely want to swap out the
GENERIC 1.5.2 hpcmips kernel for the one provided by greg hughes - it
provides support for the trackpoint

nope... not necessary... in fact, there's no XF86Config... just
start the server!

p.s. the z50 also works great with a number of CF/PCMCIA devices, due to
