I use an Accton EN2216-1 PCMCIA (10BaseT) with no problems.  It's NE2000
compatible and is recognized by WinCE 2.11 and the NetBSD 1.5.1
kernel.  It also works really well in an HP 200LX, if you happen to have
one of those too.

They're a little harder to find these days, but wouldn't preclude a
microdrive purchase.
