you are doing users a great disservice if you call anything related to
the 1.5 release "1.5R".

the "1.5R" name is used to indicate a revision of -current fairly far
down the path of development, long after 1.5.  Please, don't confuse
people by misusing it.

1.5 is, well, 1.5.  1.5 Release, if you must, but really, the proper
name is just 1.5.
