Boot using serial console worked; boot messages below. The output has
been successively munged through HyperTerminal, Outlook Express,
Pocket Outlook and Pocket Word, so excuse the formatting deficiencies
:)

I was slightly disturbed to note the "pcmcia at pcic0 controller 1
socket 0 not configured" message, since I had an NE2000 compatible
ethernet card installed at the time I booted. Is there a reason that I
shouldn't see some kind of ethernet announcement in the boot serenade?

Also, "pcic0: using irq 851971 for socket events" looks a little
peculiar.

Machine is Vadem Clio 1050, with 1 x async serial port, 1 x IrDA port,
1 x PCMCIA slot and 32M of RAM on-board, with a cheap NE2000 PCMCIA
ethernet card and a 10MB Kodak CF card hanging in appropriate slots.

Welcome to sysinst, the NetBSD-1.4U system installation tool. This
menu-driven tool is designed to help you install NetBSD to a hard
disk, or
upgrade an existing NetBSD system, with a minimum of work. In the
following
menus, you may change the current selection by either typing the
reference
letter (a, b, c, ...). Arrow keys may also work. You activate the
current
selection from the menu by typing the enter key.

If you booted from a floppy, you may now remove the disk.

 Thank you for using NetBSD!
