You have come across a well-known (and fixed in -current) bug,
where an unsupported/unknown keyboard caused an "invalid" keymap
to be assigned. Your options at this point:

	i)  try to borrow a supported (US-ASCII, UK, or Swedish)
	    keyboard until you can compile a fixed kernel on your
	    system.

	ii) if i) is not possible, contact me privately and I will
	    make a 1.2.1 miniroot containing a fixed kernel available.
