Hmm, the fact that it was doing SIOCGIFFLAGS when it failed leads me
to believe there's another problem...

Could you possibly search for that printf in the rbootd sources and
put some debugging printfs in there?  Also, might run "rbootd -d" (debug
mode) for some additional hints.  Specifically, in rbootd,
bpf.c:BpfGetIntfName(), can you print out the interface same from the
ifrp?
