Hi there,

since a few weeks I follow up the discussion about the NetBSD port
and finally I found this mailing list. I hope that I am in the right
group here, but if there is a faq about usable hardware, too - please
give me a hint.

I used to work at the following hardware and I would like to install
NetBSD but I don't have any experience in NetBSD (but in hp-ux 7.0 ;-)

HP9000/320:
98561BD Germ. 32 Bit CPU (68020+68881) 16MHz
(I have a second one: 98583 BD, same as above)
98563-67001 Boot ROM Rev.B
98568A 8 slot backplane expander

98561-66532 HP-IB, HIL, SPKR, RS-232, Realtime clock, DMA
98257A 1Mbyte RAM -> 7 Megs in all

7958A HP-IB hard disk 130 MB (2x)
(and some more 20/40MB disks with 3 1/2" floppy)
9144A HP-IB streamer for DC600HC and DC6150 tapes
98643A LAN card with 28641 ThinMAU
98642A async MUX

98547A Hi res Color BD (2nd: 98545A in reserve)
98782A 19" Color Display (it's a sony ;)
Heaps of HIL: KBD, digitizer, mouse, trackball

Is there a chance to re-activate this machine on which I take the
first step with un*x?

   Thanks in advance!
     Uwe Kaufmann
