Folks ...

Can you please test out the GENERIC kernel located at:

	ftp://ftp.NetBSD.ORG/pub/NetBSD/arch/hp300/netbsd.gz

It has the new console code.  I'm particularly interested in folks trying 
this out with:

	- serial console, no framebuffer present
	- serial console, framebuffer present

Here's the test of the .message file located in that directory...

        Folks wishing to test the new console code may download
        this one.  This is a GENERIC kernel based on Feb 21, 1996
        sources, but includes the new interrupt code that is now
        in -current sources as well as the new console code that
        is almost ready for prime-time.
