yup... got my Archie working as a serial console ( after some work ) but 
the HP seems not to recognize any input from the terminal ???
in the bootup hardwaretest it still uses its own HIL keyboard and if 
SYS_INST is booted it doesn't do anything at all, accepts no input, 
neither from the HIL nor from the terminal.

What's wrong ? Some mails ago someone mentioned about strange behavior of 
the handshake lines in the HP's RS232 ... could anyone explain this a 
little bit closer ?
