Some folks have had problems using HPIB disks with NetBSD. Your best bet is
to try it. If it doesn't work please send info to this list. For what its worth
the HPIB disks do work with 4.4BSD (and presumably with 4.4Lite), but that isn't
available yet, nor is it currently part of NetBSD. Some of us with access to
4.4 have placed the HPIB drivers into NetBSD/hp300 as an experiment with
reported success. However I can't distribute this until 4.4Lite is freely
available and the NetBSD team decides what should be done in this area.
