When I ported the Maple bus over to Linux and put in hot swapping, there
were no problems with moving the keyboard all over the place. The kernel
simply detected the removal of the device, and then reinserted it into the
chain whenever it was found again. I don't know if the BSD code handles
this, but the Dreamcast hardware at least has no problem at all.
