I tried the sysupgrade to install 7.0 after I used the latest 5.5.2 restore disk,
but I think some things are not in sync as some of the latest pkgsrc packages
were not able to compile.
I did not experience any instability with 7.0 kernel, but I only ran it for a day
or so.
I managed to get a 7.0 restore cd built after a couple of tweaks (using 5.5.2
on my qube!).
The restorecd boots on my laptop, but for some reason my qube was not able
to start the netboot process.
I guess the next step for me will be to get an usb-rs232 adapter and see if
the console will tell me what's going on.
I don't expect to make any progress for a while especially since I don't have
much knowledge of what's going on with the boot process.
