I've put 5.0_RC2/200902260000Z based NetBSD/cobalt restorecd:

- etc/ttys files have been changed to enable tty00 and ttyZ0
rather than "console" device which could cause a hangup on 2700
as reported from Wolfgang Solfrank

did this hit console access though on Qube2s?

No, it only affects Qube 2700.

hmm.

Looks cable problem (around CTS/RTS) or flow control settings.

It works on my other Qubes2 with this setting, it's on 4.0....

Macintosh:~b$ telnet root%192.168.0.26@localhost
root%192.168.0.26@localhost: nodename nor servname provided, or not known

I'm not sure about you host OS, but how about "telnet 192.168.0.26"?

This is true... I tried that first, telnet to the IP just hangs and waits forever. Sorry, pasted the "well try anything" attempt.
