RE: Long downloads, network frozen

I have 2 Qubes with multiple disks,

When I moved data from the first Qube to my PC only 1 time it locks up using
Samba on 4.0 but I don?t know if it was because I was moving from 2
different drives at the same time

yabin# df -ahi
Filesystem Size Used Avail Capacity iused ifree %iused

/dev/wd0a 6.7G 841M 5.5G 12% 140693 739689 15% /

but when I moved data to the second (40 gb app, the large amount at one
time) using Samba on 4.0 from a windows pc nothing happened but this time I
moved to one disk at the time.

I really can't say if that was because of Samba, Network or because I was
transferring from 2 disks at the same time, but it did locks up one time.

Yes, this used to happen to my Qube 2 quite frequently under 4.0. It
was doing NAT between my network and the cable modem.

It was quite frustrating! I never figured out the problem, so
eventually I bought a Linksys router. The problem stopped
immediately.
