Hi,

My Qube2 (with 256MB ram and 250GB DD) "crash" (or at least stops to =20
respond) every few days apparently during the daily script.

I run -current (NetBSD qube2.remi-zara.org 4.99.17 NetBSD 4.99.17 =20
(GENERIC) #0: Thu Apr 19 22:36:19 PDT 2007  builds@wb37:/home/builds/=20
ab/HEAD/cobalt/200704200002Z-obj/home/builds/ab/HEAD/src/sys/arch/=20
cobalt/compile/GENERIC cobalt) from the daily builds.

I used to crash every other day with 4.99.16 (200703280002 snapshot), =20=

and now it's more like every 5 days.

There is no crash dump on restart, even though I have
kern.dump_on_panic =3D 1
ddb.onpanic =3D 0

When I restart, I find the file /var/log/daily.out with:
--------8<---------
To: root
Subject: qube2.xxx.org daily output for Thu May 24 03:15:01 CEST 2007

Uptime:  3:15AM up 4 days, 15:22, 0 users, load averages: 0.03, 0.01, =20=

0.00
-------->8---------

And I just noticed that in /var/log/messages, there are these info =20
when I reboot the machine:

May 27 12:22:42 qube2 syslogd: restart

I'm not sure how this can come up here...

This machine is not very loaded. A backup script with rsync runs =20
every day (in the morning) which creates a lot of hardlinks, and it =20
tunnels some IRC traffic via ssh.
I've built several packages without problems...

I'm not quite equipped to hook up a serial console yet.

Anyone has a clue to what could be happening ?

Regards,

R=E9mi Zara=
