Hi Jan,

My Qube2 (24MB RAM, one single HDD:MaXLineII 300GB) operated under
NetBSD1.6.1, Disk performance was 3600kB/s. Ran fine (SAMBA 2.2.10 @ 15
Mbit/s writing to disk 25Mbit/s serving to network). With the fan, the =
noise
was considerable, but the system needed the fan, air temperature inside =
the
closed case temperature >50=B0C otherwise. I downgraded the HDD to a =
2,5"
notebook drive, to keep it cool, pulled the fan and placed the Qube onto =
my
bookshelf - absolutely silent except for an occasional click when the =
head
is positioned.=20

Greets
