Greetings fellow Cobaltistas,

OK, earlier today I completely borked my Qube2 by installing a
kernel-GENERIC from NetBSD, so I went back and restored 1.6.1 from the
restore CD - yet again. Now on my 9th restore...and mysteriously somehow
the process seems to be going much more rapidly now. :)
Undeterred by such temporary drawbacks, your dogged correspondent
happened upon this gem during another visceral spasm of RTFM..........

ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-1.6.1/source/sets/ (Phwhoah!)

and IN THERE is:
1. a kernel:- syssrc.tgz (MUCH more RTFM required before I touch that one!!)
2. an original pkgsrc.tgz
Coolest!!
So, for now, this fella is staying at 1.6.1, old though it may be. :)

The saga continues. My column for next week is; "The Qube2 goes to Baghdad"

Yours in Cobalt blueness,
-Colin
