Would you be able to test your Qube with the memory back in as well as
the fan connected? (Changing two variables at once an' all that)

I found in the gigaQube page (The one that got /.'d) that it's been
reported on this list (can't find it in the archives) that using two
SIMMs introduces some instabilities, and mine currently has 48MB as
32+16. I'm not sure if this is just related to the orientation (Mine is
correct AFAIK) but I'm going to try mine just with 32MB on it's own
later today, and see if that helps.

I've had my Qube from new, and apart from replacing the disk with
something a bit bigger, it's as-stock with the fan connected and
spinning with a mildly warm flow of air. The only thing that gets hot is
the PSU.
