Oh, no. I just meant that was the difference from Daniel's BIOS. :) My 
Cobalt actualy shows the RAM error message about the slots, and I'll check 
into that per Daniel's email.

I did, and was unsuccessful. Same results as the "bfd" manual experiement

Well, Daniel just pointed out to me that the kernel on his page wasn't 
compressed. So this is helpful information above.

Unfortunately I don't have a BSD i386 box lying around. But I'll give the 
compression a try, and fix that RAM error message, and hopefully I'll be 
writing this from a BSD box tonight. :)
