it's way to fast, like Jamie wrote

as far as i can tell, the rtc that can be read with 'readrtc' and set with
'writertc' at the firmware-prompt is in sync with the "system clock",
at least it's set to the same time in the future after a reboot

besides, it has an y2k-bug here:
