Two different IDE drives revealed different results.

- bad, aceride always downgrades transfer mode to PIO4
    WD300 30GB ATA100
- good, working UDMA33 (1543C-A1 rev==0xC1 limit)
    SeaGate 30GB ST330631A "Barracuda ATA II 100"

I'm using two DE-500 |d|i|g|i|t|a|l| DC21140-AC de/tlp
PCI NICs and experiencing inconsistent behaviors.
When tlp works it runs faster than de (3.5MB range for
FTP), but sometimes makes kernel panics.
